I’m not a bit surprised there are so many books with the word in the title, considering there is a town in Utah with it.
I want to give No. 11 a try. Capote irks me but I love his works.
Hi, cool list! I really like thanksgiving! I did a TT too, it’s here: http://lifes-adventures.net
Interesting list. I never thought about books with Thanksgiving in the title. Have a nice TT.
My TT is up at 13 Christmas Gifts for our Muslim Friends
It did not dawn on me until this AM that Thanksgiving is next week.
SJR
The Pink Flamingo
Sorry to say, I don’t know any of these!
advance Happy Thanksgiving!!!
There is also a great children’s book titled “A Turkey for Thanksgiving” about a moose who goes out on Thanksgiving to find a turkey because his wife wants one for dinner. The poor turkey runs away thinking he’s going to be dinner and it turns out he’s a guest. Great pictures. (Can’t think of the author).
P.S. No TT at the library blog, I’ve been spending every spare minute weeding like mad, but there is one at my blog. Books I want to get, and read.
Have a great weekend.
between you and nicholas at a gentlemans domain, my reading list is growing and growing and growing………
happy tt!
I’ve thought of 3 more:
“My First Thanksgiving” by by Tomie dePaola, Twas the “Night Before Thanksgiving” by by Dav Pilkey, and “The Thanksgiving Story” by Alice Dalgliesh and Helen Sewell Happy TT!
Another good kids’ book: Thanksgiving Treasure by Gail Rock
aliceaudrey, there’s a town in Utah called Thanksgiving? Cool!
Let me know if you like it, Sandy.
Thanks for stopping by, Noelle & Bernie.
SJR, I know how you feel. I originally intended this list for “closer to Thanksgiving” only to discover…
I haven’t read any on your list either, Nicholas. Something new for both of us, I guess.
Happy Thanksgiving to you, too, FickleMinded!
Ann, I’m working on weeding the non-fiction VHS Tapes at the moment, so I totally understand.
I’ll have to check that book out. It sounds cute!
Sorry, jaydee.
Thanks for the suggestion, Fourth Breakfast.
Brenda, a Dav Pilkey Thanksgiving book? I’m so there.
I am a book addict, and love TT’s that have to do with books…enjoyed this one! Hope you’ll stop by my TT when you can.
Oh, and have a wonderful Thanksgiving!
Hi Cindy. If you’re a book addict, you should stop by more often.
Thanks for the Capote reference! I will have a look for that today at my little library!
Glad to help, Sandy.
