Thursday Thirteen #114
You’ve probably seen them by now, and you may have even read one – The new monster mash ups. (I’m actually in the process of reading Abraham Lincoln, Vampire Hunter right now.) What do y’all think of this new genre? I think it’s kind of fun, myself, though I have encountered a few mash ups that I think folks should have skipped. (Alice in Zombieland? The Undead World of Oz?)

It is a wee bit on the strange side, true.
OMG Some of these concepts are hilarious. Thanks for the heads up. Happy T13!
Glad you liked them, Adelle. I was really hoping fro the Wuthering Heights one.
Good Lord. I had no idea all of these existed. Wow. I had heard of the Pride and Prejudice and the Abe Lincoln one somewhere but certainly not the others.
Some of them aren’t out yet, so don’t worry. It’s not you.
Wow- too funny.
Have a great day!

This is the age of the mash-up, I suppose.
You know, I just can’t get into the mash-ups. But then, I am not a huge fan of classics, as you well know.
Classics aren’t really my thing either, but these amuse me.
None of these sound very interesting to me. I suppose I am not a fan of the mashups either.
I like the covers. They’re quite creative. But yeah, I know what you mean.
what twisted classics i must say!
Ticke me off Instantly
Very true. Clever idea though.
Not for me but I love some of the titles, Jane Slayre, Abraham Lincoln Vampire Slayer…
I’m a big fan of clever titles, so you can see where my interest came from.
