Thursday Thirteen #101

As you may imagine, I’ve been hanging out in the reference section again. That’s where I found the source listed below. Today I’m bringing you all a list of 13 books which contain librarian characters. This is a library blog, after all, so it makes sense to me. My favorite of the books below is Rest You Merry. Do you have a favorite book with a librarian character in it?

13 Novels with Librarian Characters:
1. Chatterton by Peter Ackroyd
2. The Cat Who Knew Shakespeare by Lilian J. Braun
3. Rest You Merry by Charlotte MacLeod
4. The Name of the Rose by Umberto Eco
5. Dead Over Heels by Charlaine Harris
6. Always Coming Home by Ursula K. Le Guin
7. Die for Love by Elizabeth Peters
8. Duplicate Keys by Jane Smiley
9. Snow Crash by Neal Stephenson
10. Dewey Death by Ursula Torday
