ANGER MANAGEMENT WORKSHOP
At The Fremont Main Library – Fukaya Room
Saturday, January 30, 2010, 2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.
The Fremont Main Library will hold an Anger Management Workshop on Saturday, January 30, 2010, from 2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Anger management is a process of learning to recognize signs that you’re becoming angry and taking action to calm down and deal with the situation in a positive way. Anger management doesn’t try to keep you from feeling anger or holding it in. Anger is a healthy, normal emotion when you know how to express it appropriately.
Come find out from Larry Peterson, a licensed counselor for over 30 years, why you get angry and learn how to stop anger before you get out of control. Learn about “anger-trigger behavior” and how to avoid confrontations with loved ones when you are angry.
The Fremont Main Library, a branch of the Alameda County Library system, is located at 2400 Stevenson Boulevard and is wheelchair accessible. For more information, please call 510-745-1401 or 888-663-0660 (TTY).
