Thursday Thirteen #100
I can’t believe it! I’ve reached my 100th Thursday Thirteen. So, I’m celebrating with some ideas on things to try in this New Year. What are you trying this year?
13 Things to Try in the New Year:
1. Learn a new Language.
2. Exercise more.
3. Take up a new sport.
4. Organize your house.
5. Say “no” more often to new commitments.
6. Try reading in a different genre than your usual.
7. Try a new craft.
8. Start a new correspondence.
9. Join a club.
10. Start scheduling some time for yourself.
11. Try some new music.
12. Take a class.
13. Make friends with your camera.
Excellent list!! π
I’m working on organizing my house. Grin, not to say that I wasn’t also working on that last year though. Happy TT!
Thanks, Sherry.
I’m with you, Brenda. That’s my new thing…again.
1, 5, and 13 are on my list too! Happy TT!
I wrote about my bucket list. I love your list. I also like to learn a new language π
Cheers! happy thursday!
Congratulations on #100! I like #13 π
Wow what a great list! You will be very busy. I am getting out and about and joining into new activities. I like social history so I am doing a lot of walking tours of my city. That will keep me busy for the first couple of months. Then I will think where to after that.
I was happy when you added #10. I had begun to think that I would have to add “Relax” to your list. π
Making ‘friends with my camera’….easier said than done. I’m blond. Well gray now, but I do have blond roots—my genealogy proves it.
My Thursday 13 is posted: HERE [scroll below my Thursday Thunks to view if you decide to pay me a visit! I’d love your company!!]
Have a great day!!
Happy 100th TT! Excellent work. I like your list, particularly the one about the camera. Definitely a good one. Those all look like good ways to spread your wings without becoming too aggressive about it!
wonderfully inspiring!
One Word Only
I’m trying to find time. Lots of it.
I think I did most of those in 2009! I actually stuck with the exercise class and now have moved on up to 5 lb. weights.
You’ll love this one.

#10 I am seriously working on
I wouldn’t mind learning Kanji.
We are working on learning Spanish this year as part of my daughter’s homeschooling, and exercising & organizing need to be at the top of my list. ~ ~ Calico Contemplations
Cool list. I’m working on 2, 4 (always), 7, 10, and 13 (although we’re already on pretty good terms π ).
I’m glad you liked my list, Sobeit. I really want to work on #13 this year.
MommyBa, I have riding in a dirigible on my bucket list. π
Thanks, Janet!
They’re just suggestions, Julie. It’s not my list. Though…I’d love to do all that, now that I think on it. Hmmm…
Grandma, I’m all about relaxing. Well…as much as a Type A can be, anyway.
Hootin’ Anni, well…we can but try, yes?
Thanks, CountryDew. Baby steps, eh?
So are your photos, Americanising Desi!
Have you checked under the bed, Susan? π
That’s a cool idea for a list! I did something similar to that once, the 101 in 1001 days project. I made a list of things I wanted to do, (some were things I hadn’t done before, and some were things I just needed to do, and never gotten around to doing.) I did a Thursday 13 to, it’s here: http://lifes-adventures.net
Cheers!
great list! i want to explore my new city, practice my french and finally learn to bake croissants.
1- Go through all closets in the house and downsize, majorly
2- Keep on my path of NO Smoking
3- To eat healthier
4- To practice better writing habits.
You’ve got my wheels turnin’ Thanks!
Happy T13!
