Thursday Thirteen #112
I’ve lately become quite interested in place names. Some of them can be quite entertaining (tune in next week for more on that.) This week I’m looking at towns with colors in their name, like Red Bluff, CA. Do you have a favorite town with a color in it’s name? Please share in the comments.

Thanks, Brittney! Very cool.
Nothing with Purple I see.
Not that I’ve encountered yet.
The only place I’ve ever lived with a color is Walnut, CA. Walnut is sort of a color, I guess.
Yep. It’s a kind of brown. Excellent choice. I almost used a place called Peachtown.
I’ve never lived in a town with color in it’s name, though fairly close to Greensboro Vt at one time. Atlanta had lots of “peach”, but it was in the street names.

Peach totally counts.
Fun idea! You did really well… I’m having a hard time thinking of any!
Thanks, Karen.
Good list! There’s a Silver Springs in FL too.
Thanks, Nicholas. 🙂
