If computers have you baffled, the Teen/Senior Computer and Gadget program can help. This summer, our local teens are tutoring older adults on Wednesday afternoons from 2 to 4 p.m. through August 24.
Participants can either get help with specific questions or take a structured lesson. Lesson topics include Computer Basics, Windows Basics, Microsoft Word Basics, Internet Basics, or Email Basics. Lessons or tutoring will be conducted one-on-one basis.
Last Wednesday, teens helped older adults with their email, with computer basics, with the Windows Media Player, and how to get mobile applications, among other topics.
One of our teens was complimented on his helpfulness and patience.
As one participant has said after finishing a tutoring session, “My whole world is opening up.”
