Join local author Matt Johanson and artist Christopher Hampson at the Fremont Main Library tomorrow – Saturday morning – at 11:00 as they relay amazing tales of outdoor adventure from their new book Yosemite Epics: Tales of Adventure from America’s Greatest Playground.
Matt Johanson writes about sports, the outdoors, education and politics for California newspapers and magazines. You can hear an interview with the author and learn more about Yosemite Epics here. Christopher Hampson is an artist studying illustration and animation at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco. He especially enjoys his new role as a father.
Both outdoor adventure enthusiasts, Johanson enjoys hiking, climbing and skiing; Hampson’s favorite activities include mountain biking, snowboarding and backpacking through Yosemite.
Johanson is also a baseball fan. Tomorrow’s event may include a sneak peak at the latest edition of Game of My Life: SF Giants, a collection of team highlights and players’ favorite games including the 2010 World Series.
