Last week I posted a huge list of books that are being made into films in the next few years (or at least, that’s the current plan.) So, now I’m following up with three trailers for those upcoming films. Which of the upcoming book adaptations are you the most interested in? Personally, I’m most excited about Twilight and Harry Potter #6, but Inkheart looks mighty interesting.

Hey! There’s a new trailer for Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. Apparently this one is the “International Version.” For those of you keeping track of such things, it contains a whole second of Snape. Mind you, it seems to me that this trailer still contains more of him than the last one. Enjoy!

According to Sci Fi Wire, a couple of major, and eagerly anticipated, films have had their release schedules moved around. Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince has been moved from its Nov. 21 2008 release date to July 17, 2009. Yes. You read that correctly. We have to wait eight more months to see the next Harry Potter film. Word has it that the change came about because the studio is still dealing with the aftermath of the Writer’s Strike. They maintain that the delay has nothing to do with the post-production. Also, they figured that the film would do better during the summer. (Grumble.)

On a brighter note, the Twilight film has moved from December 12 to November 21. No word as to the reason on that one. I, for one, am not complaining.
