Unable to attend any of the “Winning Resumes” workshops to be presented by Tri-Cities One-Stop Career Center (Wednesdays, January 11 from 3:30 – 5 p.m.  at Fremont Main Library; January 19 from 6:30-8 p.m. at Newark Library; and January 20 from  3:30-5 p.m. at Union City Library)?  Don’t worry.  Let Cypress Resume help you write your winning resume.  Just be ready to enter your basic information (personal, professional and education).  To start, visit the Alameda County Library home page at www.aclibrary.org, find the Research tab and select A-Z Resources.  Cypress Resume is under the “C” resource list.   Selecting  Job Search then Resume instead of A-Z Resources will also lead you to Cypress Resume.

Tri-City One Stop (Ohlone) will offer free job workshops at the Fremont, Union City and Newark Libraries. The series will be held once a month at the three locations by Laura Dillon. The series will consist of:

Job search specialist and career counselor Eileen Williams can give you timely advice at her follow-up workshop “Ace the Interview: Critical Skills for Midlife Applicants” on October 13, 1- 2:30 p.m. at the Fremont Main Lib rary’s Fukaya A room. Interview

A personal note: Not too long ago I was looking for a job; I can attest to the value of practice. Doing mock interviews helped me find the words I needed to describe my skills.
