This last weekend while I was out on a drive I encountered a shop called All That Glitters. I immediately added to myself “is not gold” and it got me to thinking about phrases of that sort. I could only come up with two off of the top of my head:

“Not all who wander are lost”

“All that glitters is not gold.” (Originally: “All that glisters is not gold”)

Can any of you all think of more of these phrases characterized by their use of the negative to state something?
